Fabulous February

We started off February with some games of table tennis and another jigsaw. Table tennis is an excellent way of incorporating some physical exercise into the day as well as being good for hand/eye co-ordination and stimulating the mind – it’s good fun too!

No cheating now!

How lucky are we? This lovely cake was generously donated to us and here are our Carers Group who got to taste it first! It got a very big thumbs up from them, and also from our Craft Group who enjoyed some with their cuppy in the afternoon.

Doesn't this look nice!
Cutting the cake

Evelyn took a couple of our members to visit Forfar Open Garden on Wednesday. Many thanks to Ruth Nay for allowing us to visit, and also for the seeds and the blackcurrant cutting – much appreciated! We got lots of good ideas and we were very impressed with their bug hotel!

Our friend Jade came along to our Dementia Café on Thursday. She brought along her new puppy Nelson. It’s safe to say that everyone wanted to take him home!

She also brought along her clippers, and gave some of our gentleman a tidy up! They are all looking very smart now! Many thanks Jade.

Jade hard at work!
